Quantum is a unique modern style of martial arts that blends Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Hapkido, Judo, Jiujitsu, and Arnis (stick fighting), among other traditional styles, in a challenging and positive learning environment. Our noncompetitive school focuses on personal development, fitness, and community.

Master Rachael Evans (she/her), is the founder of the Quantum Martial Arts style, with over 40 years of martial arts experience. Master Rachael Evans opened the first martial arts dojo in 1995 in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood to examine martial arts techniques through the lens of Quantum physics and Eastern philosophy. The Quantum style continues to develop as Master Evan’s experience with yoga, body work, and healing arts deepens.

Quantum Tacoma is part of a vibrant network of schools. We have sister schools in Seattle, San Francisco and Portland. Any member of one dojo can attend classes at the other schools while visiting in the areas at no additional cost. We have all school events and we highly encourage students to get to know each other.
